Shelby Maduro is a highly experienced and passionate professional with over 15 years in Management Consulting. As the Director of the Advisory practice for Aruba & Bonaire, Shelby leads initiatives that support organizational growth, transformation, and strategic development across the region. Throughout her career, she has successfully managed projects in Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, and Sint Maarten, establishing herself as a trusted advisor in various industries.
With a strong focus on Human Resources, Shelby has a wealth of experience in projects such as organizational assessments, job evaluations, performance management systems, salary structures, and the development of HR KPIs. She has also played a key role in formulating strategic business plans, creating process descriptions, and assessing departmental efficiencies.
One of Shelby's most significant contributions has been her involvement in the development and execution of tender procedures for Aruba's two largest infrastructure projects, employing the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) methodology. Since 2011, she has been closely engaged with the Government of Aruba, supporting the tendering and contract management processes for these pivotal projects.
In addition to her consulting expertise, Shelby is passionate about empowering individuals and teams through training and development. She has delivered training sessions in areas such as performance appraisals, time management, change management, and leadership. As a facilitator and coach within the Leadership Academy, Shelby has coached over 50 supervisors, managers, and directors in Aruba, helping them hone their leadership skills and enhance their professional capabilities.
